2 Попере́джував я й попере́джу́ю, — як у вас був удру́ге, так тепер неприсутній, — отих, що згрішили перед тим, і всіх інших, що коли прийду знову, то я не помилую, |
|
3 через те, що шукаєте доказу, що в мені промовляє Христос, Який не безсилий до вас, але сильний у вас. |
|
4 Бо хоч Він був і розп'я́тий в не́мочі, та живий із сили Божої. Так і ми, — хоча не́мічні в Нім, та з Ним бу́демо жити з Божої сили у вас. |
|
5 Випробо́вуйте самих себе, чи ви в вірі, пізнавайте самих себе. Хіба ви не знаєте самих себе, що Ісус Христос у вас? Хіба тільки, що ви не такі, якими мали б бути. |
|
6 Але маю надію, що пізнаєте ви, що ми такі, якими мали б бути. |
|
7 І ми молимо Бога, щоб ви не чинили нія́кого ли́ха, не для то́го, щоб виявились ми досвідчені, а щоб учинили ви добре, а ми бу́дем немов негі́дні. |
|
8 Бо нічо́го не можемо ми проти правди, а за правду. |
|
9 Ми тішимося, коли ми слабі, а ви сильні. Про це й мо́лимось — щоб були досконалими ви! |
|
10 Ось тому́ то, відсутній, пишу́ це, щоб прийшовши, не мав я вчинити суворо за вла́дою, якої Госпо́дь мені дав на будува́ння, а не на руйнува́ння. |

|
12 Вітайте один одного святим поцілунком! Усі святі вас вітають! |
|
13 Благода́ть Господа нашого Ісуса Христа, і любов Бога й Отця, і спільність Святого Духа нехай буде зо всіма́ вами! Амі́нь. |
2 CorinthiansChapter 13 |
|
1 THIS is the third time I am ready to come to you, for by the mouth of two or three witnesses every charge is sustained. |
|
2 I have told you before, and again I tell you in advance, just as I have told you on my two previous visits; and now even while I am far away I write to those who have sinned, and to all others, that if I come again, I will not spare any one: |
|
3 Since you seek a proof of Christ speaking in me, he has never been weak among you, but is mighty in you. |
|
4 For though Jesus was crucified through weakness, yet he lives by the power of God. As we are weak with him, so we are alive with him by the power of God who is among you. |
|
5 Examine yourselves, whether you are in the same faith; heal your souls. Do you not realize that Jesus Christ is among you? If this is not so, then you are rejected. |
|
6 But I trust that you shall know that we are not rejected. |
|
7 And I pray to God that our investigation will find nothing wrong with you; but that you may be found doing good things, even though we may appear as though we were rejected. |
|
8 For we cannot do anything against the truth, but for the truth. |
|
9 For we are glad, when we are weak, and you are strong: and this also we pray for, that you may be perfected. |
|
10 Therefore I write these things while I am far away, so that when I come, I need not deal harshly with you, according to the authority which my LORD has given me, which is for your edification and not for your destruction. |
|
11 Henceforth, my brethren, rejoice, be perfect, be of good comfort, be of one mind, live in peace; and the God of love and peace shall be with you. |
|
12 Greet one another with a holy kiss. |
|
13 All the saints salute you. |

5 Випробо́вуйте самих себе, чи ви в вірі, пізнавайте самих себе. Хіба ви не знаєте самих себе, що Ісус Христос у вас? Хіба тільки, що ви не такі, якими мали б бути. |
5 Examine yourselves, whether you are in the same faith; heal your souls. Do you not realize that Jesus Christ is among you? If this is not so, then you are rejected. |

6 Але маю надію, що пізнаєте ви, що ми такі, якими мали б бути. |
6 But I trust that you shall know that we are not rejected. |

9 Ми тішимося, коли ми слабі, а ви сильні. Про це й мо́лимось — щоб були досконалими ви! |
